Blog tour: LH Cosway's "Thief of Hearts (Hearts # 5)."

The Hopeless Romantics Book Blog are pleased to be a part of the Blog Tour for LH Cosway's "Thief of Hearts (Hearts # 5)."

Synopsis:

Seduce the teacher.
Meet the cousin.
Make a deal.
Steal the painting.

Andrea Anderson has no clue of the thoughts churning around in the dark and dangerous ex-con’s head as he enters her classroom. In fact, she’s momentarily lost for words. Not in her entire teaching career has she had a student who looked quite like Stu Cross.

A widow at just twenty-eight, love is something Andie hasn’t considered a part of her life for a very long time. However, when lingering touches turn to whispered words and hot, searching stares, she begins to wonder if maybe she should take a leap of faith.

But Stu is in her class for a reason, and it has nothing to do with love. He’s there to burrow his way into her life and repay a debt, otherwise his family will suffer. Andie is the first person to show him true kindness since he left prison, and though he doesn’t want to mislead her, he doesn’t have another choice.

Before long, Stu can’t tell whether or not he’s acting anymore, and his feelings for Andie could throw all of his carefully crafted plans into complete and utter disarray.

Review: Kirsty

This book was utter perfection.

L.H. Cosway can't write a bad book. I've read a ton of her books and I've never been disappointed.. and this latest one is certainly no different.

Thief of Hearts has one of my favourite themes - a forbidden student/teacher romance. Now, it's not as sordid as some can be. Both parties are adults and very much of legal age. I guess their relationship would just be frowned upon! Stu is recently released from prison and enrols in a college class, where Andie is his gorgeous, widowed teacher. It shouldn't work, but it so does.

"Even when you've given up on yourself, I won't give up on you."

There is an instant attraction between the two of them, but there was the perfect space and time in between meeting and becoming anything serious. I really can't stand a book where characters meet and are instantly in love.. it's just not realistic. I need a background, a story and a build up! And luckily for me, this story had it in buckets.

"You're under my skin.. I think you have been since the day you stepped foot in my class."

Along the way we had plenty of twists and turns, some I never saw coming in a million years. The writing was brilliant. With plenty of humour, seriousness and sadness. This book really had it all. In fact, the whole series does.

Stu Cross made me feel alive. So much so that it took him coming
in to my life to make me realise I hadn't been living.

I can't praise this author enough. If you haven't read any of this series, I definitely suggest you do.. you won't be disappointed!

I rated "Thief of Hearts" ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
